Jorge Almaraz

Jorge Almaraz is an entrepreneur, financial professional, and leadership developer dedicated to helping people build stronger futures through financial education, life insurance, annuities and entrepreneurship.

Born in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, Jorge immigrated to the United States with his mother, a single parent pursuing the American Dream. He grew up in the Rio Grande Valley and moved to El Paso, Texas, at age 14. His early years in athletics and DECA helped shape the discipline, teamwork, business curiosity, and leadership mindset that continue to guide him today.

Jorge's pursuit of education led him to the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez, where he completed his professional dental education and earned the qualification known in Mexico as Médico Cirujano Dentista. While attending dental school, he also worked as a credit manager for a national financial services company. That experience introduced him to the practical realities of money management, credit, financial decision-making, and the role financial knowledge plays in people's lives.

In 2015, Jorge entered the life insurance and annuities industry as a broker. He saw an opportunity to combine financial education with entrepreneurship by helping individuals enter the life insurance and annuities industry, develop professionally, and pursue independent business ownership.

That vision became a foundation for Viva System Leaders (VSL), a leadership-focused platform built around agent development, mentorship, and creating opportunities for people who want to grow in the financial services profession.

Today, Jorge's work centers on developing people, strengthening leadership, and helping families understand the importance of financial protection. He believes meaningful leadership is not simply about personal achievement; it is about creating opportunities for others to learn, grow, serve, and succeed.

His journey—from an immigrant family pursuing a better future to a professional career spanning education, financial services, and entrepreneurship—continues to shape his commitment to service and impact.
